Our tutoring classes provide assistance with creating resumes, submitting job and housing applications, as well as support with locating community resources. Computers are provided along with tutoring assistance to ensure proper submission of applications.
Women Empowerment Support Group

Participants gain skills in identifying and managing stressors in their lives in a supportive peer setting. Through the group process, participants learn from and provide support to others facing similar challenges, such as the need for housing, relationship difficulties, or major life changes.
Stress Management Group

Everyone has felt stress and anger and those emotions are a completely normal human emotion. Sometimes stress and anger can get out of control and can lead to problematic outbursts and even actions that can affect your personal relationships or daily life. Our stress management group gives participants the tools to problem solve, manage, and communicate in a healthy productive manner that applies cognitive behavioral therapy in a group setting.
Confi Women’s Reproductive Health

Confi offers information, guidance, and answers questions about women’s reproductive health. Women will gain an understanding of diseases, disorders, and conditions that can affect the male and female reproductive system.
Women Seeking Safety
Thursday 10:15am – 11:30am
Our women seeking safety group is a confidential group lead by one of our clinical social workers. Women seeking safety is a support group for women that have or are experiencing trauma from domestic violence relationships. In our confidential closed group sessions women will be provided with skills to cope and navigate triggers to effectively self-sustain and build a healthy and safe lifestyle. Learn how to make beautiful jewelry with Lorraine. Lorraine provides step by step instructions when teaching you how to create your very own jewelry made with your personal touch!

The WDDC housing group is organized by our housing case managers. Participants are provided with affordable housing listings, qualifications needed, as well as assistance applying for housing. The group also discusses affordable ways to find and locate furnishings for when housing is secured.
