The Bridget House
What is Bridget House?
Our Bridget Transition House Program provides housing for six months up to 2 years for five families (an unhoused mother and up to two children). We focus on helping mothers who have a history of domestic violence and/or drug or alcohol addiction.
Participants of Bridget House work to establish self-sufficiency through case management, peer support, mastering new skills through training and work experience, and developing greater stability in parent-child relationships. Bridget House staff provide a nurturing environment for families to heal, and get back on their feet.
How to apply:
To be eligible for Bridget House, a mother must:
Have one or two children in her care
Be homeless, with documentation of homelessness
To apply, applicants should contact Family Front Door by calling 211 to participate in an intake survey. More information here.
