Services & Programs

The Women's Daytime Drop-in Center offers free services to any homeless woman and her children.

These services include:

  • A nourishing breakfast and lunch prepared by volunteers

  • Transportation assistance to medical, employment, housing, and social service appointments

  • Information and referral

  • Parenting support, both group and individual

  • Advocacy

  • Housing referral and placement

  • Case Management

  • A specialized children's program

  • HIV education and prevention

  • Chemical dependency groups and counseling

  • Bridget Transitional House
 


Women can access WDDC services by dropping in Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am and 4pm.

Case management services are offered from 9am-noon and 1-4pm. Breakfast and Lunch are served Monday through Friday from 8-9am and noon-1pm.

Special Notice:

In spring of 2010, the census will count everyone living in the United States, without discriminating against anyone based on race, language, or residency status. This count gives us a picture of our community that helps us get fair political representation and federal funds for important services like senior and youth services, public health, housing, roads and education.
